Gratebay is a general-cargo consolidation warehouse, not a furniture specialist. If your supplier can deliver it inside China and your country will let it in, we can receive it, inspect it, store it and forward it — and we'll tell you straight away if we can't.
Most of our buyers ship a mix — a few suppliers, several categories, one consolidated shipment. That mixture is exactly what a general-cargo warehouse is built for.
Typical goods: Textiles and bedding, curtains, carpets, kitchenware, tableware, storage and organisation, bathroom accessories, small flat-pack furniture, decorative items.
How we handle it: Our highest-volume category. Mixed multi-supplier orders consolidate well and inspect fast.
Typical goods: Panel and flat-pack, assembled pieces, upholstered sofas and chairs, dining sets, office furniture, outdoor and rattan sets.
How we handle it: Ships by sea. Large or fragile pieces get ISPM-15 timber crating built on site; flat-pack often saves volume by shipping in its own export carton.
Typical goods: Dinnerware, vases, mosaic and floor tiles, basins, toilets, glassware, decorative stone.
How we handle it: Double-boxed with foam. A signed fragile agreement plus optional insurance is required.
Typical goods: Pendant and ceiling lamps, LED panels, track lighting, sockets, switches, wiring accessories.
How we handle it: Non-battery only. We check the plug standard and voltage of your destination before you order.
Typical goods: Rattan and metal garden sets, parasols, planters, trellises, BBQ accessories, camping gear (no gas).
How we handle it: Bulky but light — sea LCL usually wins. Timber components need ISPM-15 treatment for Australia, NZ and the EU.
Typical goods: Tiles, mosaics, aluminium profiles, door and window fittings, hinges, locks, fasteners, sanitary fittings.
How we handle it: Heavy cargo — we quote by CBM plus weight and split the shipment if a mix makes it cheaper.
Typical goods: Hand tools, power-tool accessories, spare parts, workshop equipment, non-branded industrial components.
How we handle it: Original branded goods are fine after verification. Battery-powered tools are not accepted.
Typical goods: Garments, bags, shoes, belts, scarves, hats, jewellery and small accessories.
How we handle it: Original branded goods only, tags verified. Compact and easy to consolidate with other categories.
Typical goods: Fitness equipment, yoga and gym accessories, bike parts and frames, water-sports gear, pet supplies.
How we handle it: No aerosols, no pressurised canisters, no lithium batteries.
Typical goods: Cartons, mailers, tapes, labels, protective foam, retail display fixtures.
How we handle it: Cheap per unit but bulky — great cargo for filling out an LCL shipment.
We ship general cargo only, so there are lines we refuse — not because they're difficult, but because they break the rules or the airlines and shipping lines won't carry them through our channels.
