Every item inspected · Never sampled · Full-resolution photos

We open and check every single item — and you see it all

1688 and Taobao misrepresentation is the #1 complaint among overseas buyers. Our answer is simple: nothing ships before you've seen it. Every item gets a 1-on-1 inspection and a full-resolution photo pack — free, on every order, no matter how small.

The Gratebay QC photo pack standard

Most agents say they "provide photos." Nobody else puts their standard in writing. Ours:

1

Overall shot

The complete item against a neutral background, exactly as received — so you can compare against the seller's listing immediately.

2

Label & marking shot

Model number, brand tag, size label, batch code — close-up and readable, so what you ordered is provably what arrived.

3

Detail & flaw shot

Stitching, edges, corners, finish, working parts — close-ups of anything questionable, before it becomes a dispute after delivery.

4

Unboxing video

One video per order showing cartons being opened on camera — your evidence chain if a seller dispute is ever needed.

Delivered as full-resolution originals in a shared Google Drive folder — not compressed screenshots. Extra close-ups or a video walkthrough of a specific item: ¥1–2 each.

1-on-1 inspection with measuring and photo documentation at Gratebay

What we check, item by item

Tell us anything specific to watch for and it goes on your inspection checklist permanently.

✓ Match to your order

Model, size, color, quantity and specifications against your order screenshots and the seller's packing list.

✓ Physical condition

Damage, scratches, stains, missing parts, loose stitching, veneer lifts, dead pixels — photographed, not just noted.

✓ Function & weight sanity

Moving parts work, zips run, hinges align; weight against expectation to catch grossly under-filled items.

✓ Authenticity red flags

Tags, packaging and markings checked for replica signals. Counterfeits are strictly refused — we don't ship them.

Why 1-on-1 beats AQL sampling

The industry-standard "free inspection" is AQL 2.5 sampling — statistically sound for factory runs of thousands, wrong for your mixed small orders.

Sampling misses your item

AQL 2.5 checks ~2 in 50 units. If you ordered 8 and one is broken, odds are nearly 4 in 5 that the sample misses it. Sampling protects the factory; it doesn't protect you.

Your orders are mixed anyway

B2C-style orders from 1688 shops aren't factory batches — every parcel is a different product from a different seller. Sampling has nothing meaningful to sample.

And it's free here

Elsewhere, 100% inspection is a paid add-on. At Gratebay it's the default on every order — because you only pay after you've seen the photos.

Found a problem? Here's the exit.

Inspection is only worth something if "not happy" has a consequence.

↩ Free return to seller

Wrong, damaged or not as expected? We photograph the evidence, contact the seller with your approval, and coordinate the return or exchange — free for the first 3 returns per month.

⏸ Hold while you decide

Not sure yet? We hold the goods in your free 60-day storage window while you decide. Up to 5 shipments can wait per new customer before the first payment.

🚫 You don't pay

Until you've approved the photos and told us to ship, you owe nothing. That's the whole point of the model — the risk sits with us, not you.

Send us your order list — see the photos before you pay a cent.

Forward your 1688 order screenshots on WhatsApp. We'll confirm your inbound code and inspection checklist within 5 minutes.
